My recent flight from California to Dubai had a stopover at Paris, which refreshed my memories of my maiden voyage to the western world.Hailing from a place nestled in a valley of its own hum, countless bends & valiant cliffs,a cross continental treek was both unnerving and unforeseen. In those ticks, my mantra is always to cuddle my uneasy beat in the womb of a horizon,the infinite warmth secures my belonging, the burden of the next in amnesia.
Back in the familiar corridors of Paris and its inexhaustible horizon, where the intricate mazes and moments amplify its warm spirit, The fortified greenery & subtle taste transient through the layers, here the forging, wrapping & crumbling can’t go unnoticed. An opportune moment for a weary poet to behold on his flare & glare, grime & glitter, chants & litter, ink & erase, copious & sparse, unassailable & unbound.
As I walk from one corridor to another, I know deep in my heart that spectacle is not far, where the flow unfolds from the fold, I can hear the rhythm, untethered from the bells & spectacles. The abode in me, my hum a melody, I untraceable
